That's an arrogance based on your perception. Because people have different ideas and importances - they are wrong?

The current budget deficit that Krugman talks about here isn't a problem if taken in isolation. But, you can't do that! Why? Because this deficit is on top of the already huge accumulated debt we already have! .........There are other important reasons this deficit can't be taken in isolation; that baby boomers are retiring at 10,000 a day, that we are all living longer demanding more and more health care cost and that these cost are going up much faster than the rate of inflation. ..........We aren't even talking about reducing debt, we are just talking about reducing the rate of increase. Now if you don't find that something to worry about fine, but I do. We are to the point that those of us who say we should somehow pay for the services we get are now wrong.
