b) yes the AR is an ideal platform for home defense - the very reason police and military use if for clearing buildings of bad guys over a pistol or a shotgun. In the carbine form it's short enough to clear doors and with it's rails capable of holding many useful attachments like lights, optics and lasers.c. buy them as well
Our Spec Ops people train for years in the use of those things, how much training would the gun toting home owner have???
