My naked calls are the furthest out possible, if the stocks go up then I sell some more. If you believe that the underlying fundementals of a company are questionable, you maintain your position until these realities set in. Of course some stocks are the flavor of the day and will periodically for no logical reason go up, but patience is usually rewarded. This is especially true in the tech sector which displays much higher volatility.
