so Koan, regarding shrimp you will love this: yesterday afternoon my husband went down to the shrimp docks here in Fort Myers and bought a 6.5 pound bag of 16-20 ct. key west pink shrimp, head off for $20. Shrimpers were just back and needed some cash for the evening. More than likely for brewskis and pot, hopefully not heroin. They won't get paid until Wednesday. These routinely go for $13 # most places. Depending where they are farmed, shrimp can be disgusting and mushy, being raised in a "fecal" bath, as it were. I assume the northwest ones are ocean farmed. at least a little better. I won't eat them though. I was at a party with Florida's defeated Republican challenger for the senate ( Cornelius McGillicuddy IV, aka C4, aka Connie Mack) few days ago. He hadn't a chance, even in Florida. CNN is going to try him and his wife ( Mary Bono Mack, widow of Sonny Bono and a freaking socialist to her now husband C4) out for a talk show...he likened them to Mari Matlin and James Carver, like if ever. He is photogenic and less like a leprechaun. His interviews were wooden during the campaign. He did win in my ultra conservative area of SW Florida. MP
