Marty,
I guess you will be hearing more from me going forward.

Last year was ultra-busy, had to finish my thesis, plan the graduation ceremony and all that.
Then the insurance calamities of a car accident in a foreign country (a lot of paperwork involved
but harmless, no injury at all, just some damage to the vehicles involved), an unexpected workload
surge from my old job over the rest of the year - so 2012 was way more busy than I had planned.

On top of this, I sensed last spring that extensive DD won't make any difference to the return,
with near mindless "macro-issues" and trading bots ruling the markets. I let my folios run on
autopilot, didn't add stocks in general and let my CEV and preferreds folio provide nice yield.

The fiscal cliff "dramoulette" has been partially resolved now, which should make analysis
pay off again going forward. In Europe the "banking union" will also arrest a lot of dangerous
clouds over the market in coming months once the details are hammered out and agreed upon.

all the best
CROSSY
