Side saddle here. It's all about power. The Queen, the lifetime boss, is riding side saddle. Note the soldier who fainted - expected to remain standing and fall properly if they can't. Those men in the bearskin hats are NOT the bosses. topfoto.co.uk I would not want to ride a motor bike side saddle. When riding horses, men need be careful of their gonads. Side saddle would avoid such injury but increase the risk of falling on one's noggin. Riding into battle side saddle would be questionable. Once again, men are in trouble whatever they do. Mqurice
