These people all live in an aristocracy of their own devising. They believe they are above the common law as they follow the dictates of their own conscience as saved beings. Of course they can't explain that and would claim they don't need to because being saved has to be taken on faith - their faith. Since you don't have faith you would not understand and can be lied to and cheated or in the case of the women of Peor killed or enslaved for their lustful urges. It is a wonderful mind set for a sociopath to adopt because he does not need credentials to be an expert just a claim to grasp mystical things. Other morons will flock to him for instructions if pounds his chest hard enough. And there we have it, a clever self-serving and absorbed little fellow - plus dishonest and sneaky
