Sig,
Hi, glad to post the link. I largely credit the Chairman for our strong and healthy economy. His speech was upbeat and shows confidence that, once the SE Asian economies restructure, growth in the region will return. There is still some concern in the Japanese banking sector though since they won't be bound by IMF funds and accompanying rules to restructure. We have to hope that they will do it voluntarily. Restructuring; however, might provide opportunities for efficient US businesses.

It was tough in October sitting through that big SE Asian blow. And as with any system disturbance, the amplitude of the first wave is excessive, (Oct.27) but over time, each successive wave will decrease toward equilibrium again. Until the next disturbance! We can't avoid them altogether, but if we keep US fundamentals in mind, it may help us get through the initial jolts. I didn't do that too well though!

Regards,

Lee
