Silicon Investor has a long-standing stock-picking contest for charity.....

Subject 59069

The focus is biotech, 8-12 companies, 5-20% each. On occasion, we've had trouble with those who submitted a portfolio late and who also picked off companies from those who submitted early. As a result, the rules have become complex, and some portfolios are released late after having been held by a moderator.

It would be GREAT for contest threads (and perhaps for some other purposes), to have a time-release feature built in.... so that a portfolio could be submitted at, say, 8 p.m. on 29 December, but it wouldn't post until, example, 2 January at 9:30 a.m. Eastern.

Could a time-release feature be built into a select cluster of threads?? It would be cool to have a bolus of portfolios explode into view, all at the same time and all just as markets open on the first trading day after New Year.

TIA for any consideration, and please don't hesitate to join in this year's contest. It's fun and it's charitable.

Best! Rick
