Under Shirakawa, the central bank is on track to buy the equivalent of all new Japanese government bonds issued this year.



Wait!! Isn't that what our Federal Reserve just stated that it was going to do.. Buy nearly 80% or so of all new Treasury issuance (and a bunch of MBS to boot)??
