Close enough!

Stan asked me to post the location here:

This very interesting area of the United States is Westport Washington. You can go down and catch crab and salmon from the docks, and clams from the beach. Of course the ocean is teaming with wonderful tasting fish too. The area is famous for its cranberry bogs, elk herds and people come from miles around to watch the seasonal bird migrations. There are deer and bear and cougar and lynx and all sorts of other wildlife to view. Overall, a really neat place.

It's not on the 49th parallel.
