I agree, I have seen this phenomenon of late: where a stock with large institutional holding warns of earnings, it does not dip immediately but takes about a week to 10 days to seriously tank because those folks are unloading while suckers think it is a bottom and buy buy buy. Sure there will be a bounce in a few days to 32-33 after initial selling but that is an opportunity to sell more because then the real downward movement starts. Found this with SEG GTW XLNX and others too many to mention recently. Looks like the incurable bulls still don't want to beleive there is a problem withthe beloved company (read Craig's posts for more analysis).
