>>>How did you come to accumulate such $$$$$ to play so much Kevin, share your secrets.. how about it?? ~l~<<<

I began by taking my annual bonuses (from my real job) and investing in stocks. Deep down, I'm still a fundamentalist at heart (and I'd like to think a pretty good one). I got kinda bored with owning stocks, my portfolio got to be a decent size, so I began looking into options....only started that about 2 years ago. 19 months ago, I started teaching myself TA....never looked at ANY of it prior to that. One by one, I learned various tools and decided whether or not they fit my needs. In the last 16 months, I have done quite well, and am very pleased with the results of what I consider TONS of research.

I never stop thinking about the markets. In fact it's a rare night that I do not dream about the markets. (usually when I dream about the markets, I wake up several times per night out of excitement...I'm serious).

My goal is to retire from work and trade my own portfolio full time in 9 years. 14 years should be the latest. I set this goal a long time ago (to retire at a specific age) and really want to achieve it...more than anything I've ever wanted.

Well there you have it.

BTW, since I began trading options I don't buy stocks any more. I have a couple but there not as much fun <<<g>>> I'll switch back to stocks more and more as my retirement gets closer and closer :-)

Take care.

BTW, I put in my sell order for my IBM calls...time to dump 'em.

Kevin
