Apple Is Already Late To The Smartwatch Game Best Smartwatches - Business Insider Well, Apple was already late to the MP3 player game, and the smartphone game, and the tablet computer game and we all know how those turned out. Still, if Apple is going to come up with a Smartwatch, I think there is a lot more innovation out there than there was for MP3 players. Apple, of course, does have the whole iCloud, iTunes, etc. that they can leverage as well as the loyal Apple buyers.
