Roger Moss, Ph.Geo. President and Director

A geologist with fourteen years international experience in the exploration industry. Dr. Moss was instrumental in the discovery of the Navachab gold deposit in Namibia which, after 12 years of operation, still contains reserves and resources of 3.7 million oz gold. He has conducted extensive research on hydrothermal ore deposits, culminating with a Ph.D. in geology at the University of Toronto in 2000. Prior to joining Nikos, Dr. Moss was Vice President, Exploration for Amerigo Resources Ltd.

Nikos enters option for Borden Lake

Nikos Explorations Ltd. has entered into an option agreement to earn a 100-per-cent interest in the Borden Lake extension property located near Chapleau, ON., subject to regulatory approval. The agreement is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
The 1,598-hectare property lies immediately east of Probe Mines' (PRB-V) Borden Lake gold project, where recent exploration has defined pit-constrained indicated resources of 2,735,000 ounces of gold (81.9 million tonnes grading 1.04 grams per tonne gold) and inferred resources of 683,000 ounces of gold (22.9 million tonnes grading 0.93 gram per tonne gold) at a 0.6-gram-per-tonne-cut-off grade.
