Post says the two Louies off to form a new firm

Donner Minerals Ltd DML
Shares issued 24,279,502 Dec 2 close $0.90
Wed 3 Dec 97 In the News
The Financial Post reports in its Wednesday edition that Donner Minerals,
an exploration junior closely watched since it released promising drill
results in October, says that its chairman and secretary have left the
company. Reporter Paul Bagnell says that chairman Howard Louie and
secretary Dan Louie quit December 1 to form a company of their own. Donner
chief executive David Patterson says he knew no details of the new company
the two men, who are not related, plan to form. He says the pair were not
asked to leave. Neither could be reached for comment. Howard Louie will be
replaced as a director by Donner's new president, Harvey Keats. Donner
grabbed the attention of investors on October 16, when results from two
drill holes at the company's base-metal exploration project in Labrador
showed narrow but rich intersections of nickel, copper and cobalt. The
stock shot up to $3.77 from $1 on the news, but has since lost that gain.
On Tuesday, the stock dropped $0.15 to $0.90.
