Find new markets for your oil. The traditional markets cannot afford it while other parts of the world need and will have the money to pay for it.

As the rich countries move into a lower level of living standards, the pattern of their consumption is changing.
The economic crisis forced the US to throw overboard their local sensitivities and started fracking rocks to get their oil and gas. No more NIMBY. Everything goes.

The same economic crisis is forcing the Spanish to reduce food consumption and lowering the use of traditional Mediterranean cuisine staples such as olive oil and wine. Olive oil is being substituted by sunflower oil. Note that these are products that national passions and are pride of the the Spanish people.

I see in China the cars are huge. Most all brand new. And lots of avenues and roads for them to roam. That means that oil that was going to Europe and America will end up here in China.

It is simple: Whomever has the money buy the products. Whomever does not have, will do away without it.

Like I wrote about Africa: they will have to get their food from their own soil. The food in international markets will be purchase by those who have the money to buy it.
