Dear Len :

>>>>Israel that once was will not be again. Ancient Israel was one of the enlightened places on earth whose time ran out. I am almost sure that the newly enlightened place, if not here in America, will appear again somewhere in Asia.<<<<

I just have to make a few comments about your above ststement..

I don't want to be argumentative so I will just express these comments as opinions.

God changed Jacob's name to Israel which interpreted means blessed of God.

Whenever God gives something he cannot take it back, his gifts are eternal. We as people or nations can turn our backs on God and therefore miss out on God's promises; however, God's intent is always to give eternal gifts; should we expect any less form an eternal God.

The promises he gave to Isreal are eternal and if it was once the center of enlightenment then it shall be so again.

I as a Christian await the eternal Son of God to return to this earth upon the Mount of Olives. In fact this is the next event to take place on the Christian calendar.

As this age closes, all eyes will be gathered to view events in the nation of Israel as the inexorable hand of God moves in the lives and hearts of willing servants( ( and I might add unwilling ) all around this globe. Like I said this is my opinion, no need to start any arguments...In Christ......gregor
