I think that Cook is doing the right thing wrt the cheaper iphones. Apple needs to win the whole thing maybe along with Microsoft - surely, both can do better than Samsung which has no clue about pretty much anything. I can't imagine Samsung has taken somebody else's OS, apple's designs and made so much money. My only persistent beef with Cook has been the management of his cash reserves and forward guidance. Unfortunately, dividend increase is not such a good idea. Something needs to be done along the lines of INTC/MSFT to buy back stock at these ridiculous prices.. Also, I hope Cook starts providing realistic forward guidance so that the stupid analysts are taken out of the equation.
