And at what point do you hold the people responsible for signing mortgage agreements that they knew they couldn't possibly pay to completion?

There is plenty of blame to go around....and it isn't just to politicians and bankers. How many people took loans that no reasonable person would think that they could pay back? When do you hold them responsible for their actions?
