Aha!
My most hated, nightmare instructor in the USAF is once again proven dead wrong!
Said to me, day three of USAF photography school, the day after I completely, absolutely fell in love with making snaps cause I processed the classically corny, military boot stepping on a flower 4x5" negative, under a green safelight, in brown developer which changed my life and told me that I can make this artform work like none other:
"Your fingers sweat. They're like prunes. You'll NEVER, EVER make a photographer!!"
Little did he know I'd become the best darkroom man ever dreamt up. Ask my clients. Their archivally processed film is just fine, from 1980 to this day and another few centuries to come, if correctly stored, in low humidity, temperature and light, :-)))
