If the stock trades above $1.00 then the size will be 500 x 500. The NASD sets the min. sizes, DK why they picked the sizes they did. These sizes are for BB stocks only. On SmallCap and NMS stocks the min. size is determined by a number of factors, (avg. vol, price and some others) and is reviewed form time to time. So you know the BB min sizes are: 1.01 and above: 500
.51 to 1.00: 2500
0 to .50: 5000
