This year if your IRA offers a roth you can transfer all of your IRA into a roth. You will have to pay taxes on that amount transferred. If you are young this may be a good deal. You should plan on having low income this year so the taxes paid on the transfer would be minimized. Just read an article on that last week. Best to Google it.
