Just a few notes this am, before I run off :

My whine on that "pos" ANV seems to have caught it on the very bottom. :) But w/ an avg cost of about $33 on getting back in, it's not too far in the dog house (and I love dogs, too)

Very nice am performance from CSI Colossus. Good for Sandstorm too that gets 35% of the platinum and 1.5% of the gold...the richest gold strike in history, back in the day.

I got into GMA at .32 in Dec so I'm all good w/ GMA...

I haven't had much luck with AUN however, all in all. Added today at .95... I'm feeling good about the sector and crappy sentiment is a good thing, usually!

Anyone catch this story on the Yukon court decision on granting mining claims PRIOR to providing consultation - the Appeals court says this is no-can-do and have given the Yukon a year to change their processes. Implications First Nations is calling this decision HUGELY SIGNIFICANT FOR NATIVE LAND CLAIMS, not only for the way claims staking is carried out in the Yukon, but also on crown lands that haven't been fully settled in Canada. I think you have to consider the source and know the bias and that is OVERSTATING the decison, but it will be a much studied decision (and consider the source, me, WTFDIKN about claims anyway?). The Yukon Chamber of mines says the decision applies only to Ross Rive Dena (and probably the other two first nations, one of which claims 13% of the Yukon, right?)

I've got one Yukon (and 30 something Nevada royalty play...got to stick that in here) play and so that calls for a call into GPD HQ. Suffice it to say that where First Nations relations (Partnering, relationships, sincerity, WALKING the talk and not just writing the NR) are concerned you'll have to go the entire length of the Yukon and you won't beat GPD, and probably much of Canada too. They've confirmed that while the drills have stopped to conserve cash, that they still have the 3 lead projects and the 5, 6 pipeline ones and F.N. relationship building and working together isn't just restricted to Brewery Creek. The Yukon is cold but you wait, owning one of the largest if not the largest land position in the Yukon will be meaningful again in time. And all for a $50m cap is the weirdest thing.

Normally I'd say so and so is the President's wife, but in her case I'll say her husband is the President.

P.S. GMA has an ask of .435 who would have thunk?
