Who's talking about "fewer guns"?

The idea that we're going to get "fewer guns" is absurd.

There are already, what, hundreds of millions of them? They last forever.

And within a couple years, any person who wants one can simply download the CAD file and print it. This is not something you're going to be able to control in a meaningful way. That's a pipe dream.

The only real control over the use of guns to commit crimes is Mutually Assured Destruction.

The statistics are pretty clear that it works.
