Yes, I do like it. It is much much faster bootup than Win XP. My computer was doing weird things which I felt was the motherboard so I bought an Asus motherboard, i5-3570K CPU and 16 gigs of memory and rebuilt my computer last week. I decided to try out Win 8 Pro since till Jan 31 you can get it for $40.00 and due to a loophole I found, I ended up getting it for $15.95<ggg>

It's really not that bad after you get using it and tweaking it a little. You can easily toggle back and forth from the normal desktop you are used to and the new interface with the windows key. I pretty much just stay on the old desktop. I created a shut down button on my taskbar so you don't have to go through Microsoft's arcane way of shutting down, about a 4 step procedure.

So basically if you don't mind doing some tweaking, it is faster and has some nice new things to play with. If you are one that doesn't want to change anything and just use as is, well, it may take some getting used to.<jmho>

ps: I figured for only $15.95 if I didn't like Win 8 I could always get rid of it and buy Win 7. I will be keeping Win 8.
