NZ/Auckland is busy spending $billions on toy trains. We will incur huge debts and waste a fortune just in time for Google cars and buses to become the new form of transport. Those swishy new vehicles will take people door to door, where bulk people movers cannot go. There is always the last mile and first mile problem with public transport. Train tracks can go only in one direction. Wheels on flat surfaces can go in any direction at any time. Mqurice
