Indeed, which is why the time and labor required to effect remediation through tava tech must be demonstrated to be a real bargain (and a permanent solution) when compared with replacement.

All I'm saying is that the depth of the problem -- the high number of imbedded chips in difficult-to-reach places -- has a certain diminishing return. At some point, it just becomes an excuse to upgrade completely. (Think of how many people would rather spend 3000 on a new PC than 500 on a new motherboard for their old one.)
