TWY, let me put it this way. If it takes just one person armed with maybe a six-shooter to stop a crazed gunman, then why would law-abiding citizens need high-capacity magazines to defend themselves?

And if it takes just a few seconds to change a magazine, then why would law-abiding citizens need them?

The only self-defense justification that I can think of for these magazines is defending one's home from multiple armed intruders. But then you've just turned your home into a fortress. And for what, to defend yourself against an army?

By the way, noticed that I said that high-capacity magazines should be "strictly regulated." Not outright banned. If you can't tell the difference, that's not my fault.
