Having enjoyed the UK meteorological services in the last couple of years, their accuracy is impressive. The days of total inaccuracy are long-gone. With super computers and satellites they are able to give the time the rain will start in Queens Park, London [not totally accurately, but near-enough for government work and good enough to know to be home before 12.45pm as the rain is going to start at 1pm, which it does [and that forecast is given the day before]. It's not totally accurate and the number of raindrops per second and their size is not certain, but quite good. < Our reputation for forecasting accuracy is based on our commitment to provide the world’s best weather and climate service which helps protect lives and property here in the UK and around the world.>

I doubt their forecast for 2020.
