Place was jammed with current and ex-hippies. He's was one of those really talented guys that never made it, but could fill a club with a cult following. A Leo Kottke type guy. Used to see Leo at the Quiet Knight, me sitting back at a front table with my feet on the stage. Amazing guitar player... even shit faced as he always seemed to be. That really seems like a dream now.
