On average 27 people a day die in alcohol related traffic accidents. Something must be done.

In a country of 300,000,000. And double that die from non alcohol related traffic accidents. Ban cars!

But is nothing done? Plenty is done. We do lots of things to minimize alcohol related traffic accidents, and those measures certainly do reduce them.

The NRA would like to do NOTHING involving guns. Every measure is nixed.

And screw it. This is the last time I'm arguing with you on this alcohol-guns thing. I don't believe for a minute that you believe a word of the rest of your post, so why argue with it?

I'm going to go escape all of this talk of violence and alcohol by getting ready to watch football and drink beer...
