It wouldn't have stopped the Sandy Hook shooter, who simply killed his mother and took her weapons, but it would go a long way toward getting a grasp on all the guns floating around in this nation.

If this can't be done, then you can kiss the 2nd amendment goodbye. Can't have rights without responsibilities.


AFAIK, the government track record on legislating responsibility hasn't been that great.
