Just the news hype and general discussion from other sources about the US defaulting because the Republicans are not going hand Obama another blank check without some serious social spending cuts will cause the markets to fall and bonds and possibly metal to make some short term gains. The debt ceiling crap is going to make the fiscal cliff look like a cake walk.
