the singular idea that china is over investing in infrastructure fails to account for all that china must build ... to desalinate sea water, tap the sun, and green the desert. the truth is that amongst states, the civilization state that is china can get the job done.

coke-n-pepsi vote-the-other-guys-wallet universal suffrage, when combined w/ entrenched old money and ancient classes not removed by bloody revolution, put together with rule by making up rules + corporate press spin, concatenated w/ not-in-my-back-yard attitude, and knotted up w/ everyone can try to organize to obstruct, is bad news, especially when there are imperatives to address.
