Agreed. But iPhone 5 is still an iPhone, and as such, almost certainly carries GM at or near 50% at launch, well above the corporate average. i'd think the best ever quarter for iPhone sales, nearly doubling the iphone revenue base sequentially, would fuel a historic GM number, all other things being equal. But that's without crunching the numbers, as you have done.
