Sure, but I assumed that your viewpoint might change since Android doesnt just have double the market share of Apple in Brazil (and likely other similar countries) but likely has something north of 10x. Do the numbers really not impact your viewpoint in the slightest?

You seem to contend that Apple has to compete at the low end. If so, does that mean they have to make cheap non-smart phones as well?

I never understand why cheaper automatically equals cheap. There is a huge gap between the low-end and Apple's current offerings. Can Apple move further down market to insure a minimum market share in developing countries? I think they can, and I think that such move might be needed to insure the long-term viability of even high-end iPhones in those markets.
