Women were given the vote by alcohol prohibitionists in order to get prohibition passed - read some history. As for gays, they don't need the right to marry. No society in history has ever had same sex marriage - read some history. Marriage is about children and family and property ownership and inheritance.

For the last 50 years everything liberals have pushed for has been harmful to society. The welfare state is destroying families and making the state into the poor substitute for a breadwinner and family head. Liberals propose and start wars (Vietnam, Iraq, Libya) and turn against them when the other party is in power. Liberals side with America's enemies (Cuba, the USSR, Islamists) and strive to weaken and overthrow friendly governments (the shah, Mubarak, Honduras) and replace them with hostile dictatorships. Liberals attack any attempts to defend the country when a Republican is President, but approve of everything they objected to (drones, rendition, warrantless wiretaps, etc) when a Democrat is in office. Liberals have debased our government schools, further daming the poor who can't escape them. They oppose people protecting themselves and protect criminals. When they do ban guns, they seek to prevent the bans from being enforced on criminals*. Just off the top of my head. Liberals today are like a tumor in our society.
