Re:Sell Programs at 0.62. I have notes somewhere in one of these piles that tell how it's done but I just buy the information.

What is a practical application of watching this number occur and trigger program selling. It seems to me that the futures and options prices will have already factored in the deviation from fair value, and that the move that the programs create could restore the balance either by selling off cash or buying futures, or both. Still a guess in any case.

I'm not intending to argue the usefulness here, only wanting to learn more about how to apply this information.
