How about a list of jews as well?
I'm not saying a gun registry should be made public.

But I don't believe a gun registry will necessarily lead to burglars going into gunowners' homes.

Otherwise, you might not want to tell anyone you're a member of the NRA and that you own several guns each worth hundreds of dollars.
