I think this market is struggling at overhead resistance. If the Republican majority in the House uses the pending debt limit debate as leverage to attempt to get some spending reductions, as I believe they will, I fail to see how that is not going to cause quite some volatility in the next 3 or 4 weeks. March S&P futures are at 1462.50 as I write. I am long the VIX Feb futures, currently at 15.95.
