After the bet is concluded, he can keep any interest and he can send the $2000 to the winner. For this bet I would like to time shift the interval so that I don't feel foolish if the CCP apparatus collapses before the 2018 start. I would like to change the interval from today forward and up to 2023. If the CPP is still functioning at the start of 2024, I lose the bet. Since the bet is that the CPP will remain strong throughout the interval, giving me 5 years from your start shouldn't be a problem, and I give up three years at the end. I would also want Caranza to determine who has won the bet. The "imploding" of the Chinese Communist Party can be anything similar to the Soviet Block collapse or an Arab Spring type change in government.
