I am amazed how strong this market is with the debt ceiling vote hanging over it. I can remember the last debt ceiling fiasco in August 2011, the markets were practically in free fall. Maybe at this juncture having experienced all this a year and a half ago, knowledgeable market participants know congress will have to buckle again, just like they did with the fiscal cliff a few weeks ago.
