Examples please. - tejek 1971 was the year that Nixon repudiated the Bretton Woods agreement. I posted a chart that shows what happened to the value of the dollar afterward. Inflation looks like a hockey stick after that year. As for Bush, he engaged in a suspension of habeus corpus illegally. Obama made it legal through his Patriot Act and other laws. Obama doubled down. And where's your response to my prior post which was in response to your post where you spent a shitload of money for your education. I am still curious as to how you got the banks to give you all that money for school. Not sure what your point is. I borrowed money as part of my scholarship package. My parents had to co-sign the loan. Good thing I didn't default, because my parents wouldn't have had the money to pay, if I had defaulted. At the end of the day, I got a good job and paid it all back. CEOs of all the major banks have been replaced during the past 4 years...........the perps of the recession are gone. Jesus, are you really this clueless? Blankefein, Dimon, Corzine, Geithner. The perps are still in power and none are in jail.
