ReadersPoll Now 14 hours old and now 63%-37% Yes! for Kelly--i agree with my own Yes! vote as long as time allows: the fellow has too much spark and drive--the best coaches for Eagle since 1960 have in my personal order: Vermeil/Reid/BuddyRyan: Rhodes was biggest accompliment was drafting Brian Dawkins in i think the 2nd round in his first year: he was mediocre: all other coaches Eagles Coaches since 1960 have been awful; Kuharick/Mize/Khayat'Kotite and others were all awful(Kuharich inherited a Super Bowl team and it slowly destructed under his command) Mize and Khayat were a horror--Vermeil saved the Eagles franchise from complete collapse---but Tose that hired Vermeil was to go bankrupt and Eagles had money problems until Reid and Lurie hooked up. The to remember, Reid and Lurie made Eagles a highly profitble franchise: and Lurie is a committed owner, i believe, and knows the franchise depends on success, that the nature of teams in Philly---he has bet the future on Kelly ---i will root for that being a success.
Did the Eagles make the right choice in hiring Chip Kelly as head coach?
