Rand,
re mxam insiders selling shares... well, they do have a very large position, so a little liquidation here and there won't hurt. paul sold some shares of chip this summer... but he was going through a divorce at the time, and he still has a significant position, as do his children. btw, he sold near the bottom, so nothing sinister there!<g>
i'm curious, why did you take a dim view of trading?? I'm a student of Steve Huskey (and many others... anyone who will teach me something!<g.), and his first rule with jr. golds is that you limit your exposure, i.e. trading. If you have a very volatile issue, it's possible to come away with a 'free' position in a stock, my favorite kind! If you are interested, you should visit the dd ta thread... we talk about trading the dd's, as well as other stocks. Some very good traders post there... Richard M, Danny Brown, Bob Markley, Steve Huskey, just to name a few. It's very informative, imo. besides trading, I've learned a lot about dd, money management, etc. The best part is that is is a very amicable place... we don't always agree, but egos arn't tied up with the stocks they pick. you should come over there.
best, kim |
