That poor woman would have died if that guy hadn't had a gun and he DIDN'T have to go back to his car to get it.

Let me ask you this though. I don't know if you go to Chicago or Atlanta or LA or New York or any other large or small city very often, but if you do I wonder if you're ALWAYS saying I HOPE all those young people over there are carrying FIREARMS.
