The asian monetary crisis will keep semi fab expansion/construction on hold. This benefits EXISTING fabs. If ALSC can break even until the next cycle begins all will be well. They made it thru the 90-91 recession. Mgmt should become more defensive, conserve assets and get ready for a new cycle with SOTA products. How about some GaAs for higher speed applications? I'm sure the Reddy's have a better outlook on where the industry is going than me! Hang in there and if you're employed BUY MORE, 'cause it's cheap right now. Just MHO. Ken
