That's outside or in addition to the school guards - the school does not hire secret service guards.

But it doesn't mean it is true.

But it is true - schools across the country are and have been choosing their solutions themselves. Some are training teachers others are hiring guards, others use SRO's and some do nothing at all. The funding will be helpful especially after obama canceled the COPS funding last year. You get what you can afford - not every school has enough money for SRO's - some don't have as high a threat either.
