My ASUS Transformer TF300 stinks for web surfing. Seems some of their architecture caches the web content in a virtual mem or sorts.. not sure I understand it all.. but some hacks have rerouted the web cache to RAM and it seems to be lightning fast now. (Root required) ASUS might of fixed the problem w/ your new board. They stated they were working on the cache problem so I bet so. I've come to accept that anything Google is going to be so top heavy w/ re: to tracking and ad placement, the browsers are going to lag some what compared to others. My wifes Ipad is absolutely superior to my pad is speed, ease of us, display. Going to root my table and get rid of the bloat ware, install a new ROM w. true ad-blocking software. I've read this is paramount if one wants a fast, clean, ad free experience.
